**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide medical administrative support in various healthcare settings including inpatient, outpatient, clinics, and a Level II Trauma Center.
**Responsibilities:**
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures
- Record patient medical history and vital signs accurately
- Administer medications under the direction of a physician
- Perform medical administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in settings like the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)
- Utilize knowledge of medical terminology and physiology to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
**Qualifications:**
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program
- Certification as a Medical Assistant
- Experience working in diverse healthcare settings including inpatient, outpatient, clinics, and trauma centers
- Proficiency in vital sign measurement and medication administration
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and physiology
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and provide high-quality patient care
