The ideal candidate would have experience in signal and image processing, target recognition and classification with potential to grow into a leadership role. This position will require development, implementation and testing of algorithms to gain insight into both sensor performance and object characterization.
Typically Skyline supports Defense, Service, and Interagency audiences with:
1. Timely and accurate assessments of adversary capabilities, and S&T developments.
2. Advise future development of EO/IR systems and implement new ways of using the sensor systems to maximize mission impact for users.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develops algorithms and tools to improve the quality and timeliness of assessments and maintain currency in understanding relevant technologies, trends, and threats.
- Contributes to Intelligence deliverables, including but not limited to foundational assessments, warning reports, technical briefings, and other analytic documents
- Collaborates with the Intelligence Community, Defense Department, national labs, and academia to address foreign threats and advise these organizations on ISR system improvements to increase situational awareness
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or a similar technical degree
- 3+ years of experience with image or signal processing
- Practical understanding of EO/IR sensors and collection systems
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within or lead a team of peers, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to clearly express in writing technical analysis results and program characterizations
Level-III
B.S. degree in STEM
3 -5 years engineering experience
Background / knowledge in EO/IR systems, or signals analysis
Compensation Range: $110,800 - $130,000
Level-IV
B.S.or M.S. degree in STEM
5-10 years engineering experience within the Intelligence Community
Background / knowledge in EO/IR systems, or signals analysis
Compensation Range: $130,500 - $190,000
Level-V
B.S.or M.S. degree in STEM
10 plus years engineering experience within the Intelligence Community
Background / knowledge in EO/IR systems, phenomenology, and sensors, National space, satellite, and sensors
Compensation Range: $190,000 - $260,000
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a similar technical degree
- Demonstrated knowledge of spectral analysis, digital filters, and/or object classification and tracking
- Familiarity with space-based EO/IR collection Programs and capabilities
- Understanding of the Defense Intelligence Enterprise, DIA, and Service intelligence production centers.
- Experience effectively devising, utilizing, and communicating methodological approaches to complex problem sets.
- Familiarity with algorithm and tool development in Python, MATLAB, or C/C++
