HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGER

Gallivan White Boyd is seeking a Human Resource professional to support its talent management functions across multiple offices.
The successful candidate will partner with the firm’s Chief Administrative Officer with the purpose of leading and directing the functions of the Human Resources department. Functions include Recruiting, evaluation and engagement of support staff, culture building initiatives and implementation of programs that ensure compliance with internal controls, firm goals, and governmental regulations.
Job Qualifications:
- Possess excellent oral, communication, judgement, and organizational skills
- Demonstrated interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality in all interactions
- Thorough understanding of employment-related laws and regulations
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate when appropriate
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Education / Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, required.
- 5+ years of human resource management experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Indoor office environment
- Sedentary with prolonged sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Light lifting
- After-hours contact may be necessary to assist with unexpected situations.
- Periodic travel between offices, as needed.
