Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement process, company’s purchasing and logistics.
The supply chain analyst reports to the Director of Supply Chain. This role works daily in procurement, purchasing, and MRP processes.
The Supply Chain Analyst is a part of the Supply Chain Team (SCT).
Responsibilities:
· Research options for new vendor or items
· Vendor qualification and QA support
· Master Data and RFID support for items, BOMs, and MRP elements
· Foster positive, efficient relationships with vendors and their teams
· Purchase cost reporting for projects and start-ups
· Requests for quotes and bids
· RFID and database support as related to purchasing and MRP
· Interface with AP for new vendor setups and to communicate purchasing and payment priorities
· Reporting and logging vendor scorecard elements /vendor performance
· Landed cost and price change reporting to Director of Supply Chain
· Organize and maintain contract and other procurement agreement files and logs
· Contract tracking and management
· Support product cost-reduction projects, bids, and activities
· Demand planning and other data processing
· Backup to other SCT members
Skills:
Experience in purchasing/buying min 3 years in food or other perishables
Experience using MRP
Good interpersonal skills
Computer proficient
Proficient in Word, Outlook
Excellent Excel skills- a MUST
Excellent communication skills in English
Experience with using a database / ERP
Experience purchasing products with shelf life and safety constraints
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
