Job Description: Territory Sales Representative/Photographer
Lagniappe Photography is seeking a highly motivated, energetic, responsible individual to join our team of professional sales representatives in the Lake Charles/Lafayette, LA. This individual needs to have photography experience and a highly entrepreneurial spirit. Our sales personnel work together throughout the school year to provide each school with an experience of high quality with our underclass, senior, and sports photography. Sales representatives are provided with in-depth training before the fall season begins.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Ability to work alongside fellow photographers to ensure a smooth Picture Day in schools
· Setting and maintaining schedule for team photographers
· Ability to inventory, manage, and order supplies
· Interest in learning the business to grow accounts
· Assisting with the development and implementation of new procedures for efficiency
· Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential schools
· Ability to make telemarketing calls to plan in-person appointments.
· Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential competition
- Completes sales agreements with school personnel, making certain that all shoot dates, preferred backgrounds, accurate enrollment, and other information is provided
- Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses
- Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
- Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments
- Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports; making recommendations to management
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge of photography and marketing
- Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
