Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales and Operations Manager to oversee our artificial turf
and accessories division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales, managing operations,
and leading a team of dedicated sales professionals and warehouse associates. This role requires a strong
focus on customer satisfaction, sales strategy execution, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate with office administration to forecast inventory needs, including samples.
Serve residential, contractors, and commercial clients by selling artificial turf and accessories, meeting
customer needs based on product literature and price lists.
Actively seek Google reviews to enhance online presence.
Act as a subject matter expert for contractors, homeowners, and prospects, providing recommendations
and answering inquiries.
Hunt and follow up on new business opportunities via cold-calls, face-to-face meetings, texts, and social
media.
Adjust sales presentations based on the type of sales outlet or trade factor.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge through networking and attending industry events.
Operational Management:
Verify payroll hours and manage overtime in coordination with office administration.
Conduct performance evaluations for team members during employment.
Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports.
Communicate with office administration on sales, inventory needs, operational reports, and team
leadership.
Recommend changes in products, services, and policies based on evaluation and competitive
developments.
Monitor competition by gathering marketplace information on pricing, products, deliveries, and
merchandising techniques.
Resolve customer complaints by investigating issues, developing solutions, and making recommendations
to management.
Review action plans with various teams including sales, deliveries, and warehouse.
Team Leadership and Development:
Partner with team members to close deals and guide customer interactions.
Contribute to team effort by achieving related results as needed.
Motivate, coach, develop, and lead a successful sales team.
Screen and recruit sales staff, coordinating with the office administrator for hiring.
Ensure Sales Account Managers are trained on new products and offerings.
Project and Installation Management:
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to analyze sales and operational data to adjust strategies accordingly.
Proficiency in CRM software and other operational systems.
Ability to read and interpret financial and operational reports.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
