Responsibilities:
- Perform month-end and year-end close processes
- Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and company policies
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives
Ability to understand and analyze financials - Balance Sheet, Income and Cash Flow Statement
- Assist in the preparation of regulatory reports and filings
- Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA certification preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate accounting or public accounting
- Proficient in double entry bookkeeping principles and practices
Solid understanding of technical accounting principles and regulations
- Experience with different accounting software systems - ability to learn and use different accounting system expeditiously
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy required
