As the Lead Carpenter, you will oversee, manage, and build, kitchen, bath, and whole house remodel projects from start to finish. Expertise in carpentry, strong leadership skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with the team will be crucial to ensure the successful completion of projects while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
Responsibilities:

Ensure accurate framing layout according to the plan and instructions provided.

Supervise and guide junior carpenters and laborers to complete assigned tasks within specified timeframes.

Collaborate with the Foreman to ensure the availability of all necessary tools, equipment, materials, and labor for smooth job operations.

Reading blueprints, plans, specs, and instructions

Using hand and power tools

Rough framing of walls, ceilings, flooring, and roofs

Finish carpentry including hanging crown moldings, installing window/door casings and baseboards, installing fixtures and hardware, cabinet installation

Shoring erection, repair/replacement of patios, decks, doors, cabinets, appliances, and necessary demolition

May also include drywall installation, tape and texture work, and painting

Checking the accuracy of completed work

Conduct inventory checks of materials upon arrival at the job site.

Maintain cleanliness and security of the job site, including proper lock-up procedures.

Accurately record daily working hours and project-related tags.

Adhere to 100% safety standards at all times on various job sites.
Qualifications:

Proven experience (+5 years) as a Lead Carpenter or similar role, with a track record of successfully completing construction projects.

Proficient in various carpentry techniques and tools.

In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety practices.

Ability to work efficiently without wasting materials and possessing reliable transportation and tools.

Must possess the ability to read building codes, blueprints, and drawings.

Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality workmanship.

Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and tools.

Hourly rate at $35.00 - $45.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
