Action for Autism-Therapy & Education Center is now located in Fenton and is growing all of our services.
Our center is a therapy & learning center that provides Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy and supplemental Occupational, Physical, and Speech Therapies for learners ages 2-21. We also have a private Special Education program for families who are looking for a functional and therapy heavy approach to education.
We currently have two BCBAs, one BCaBA, 8 RBTs and 5 BTs. As we continue to grow we are looking to add a BCBA who is dedicated to providing high quality ABA services, being a part of a collaborative team, and who wants to continue their knowledge in the field of ABA.
Our BCBAs work onsite at our center and are off evenings, and weekends, and have 12 paid holidays. Additionally, we provide our BCBAs an average of 25 days per calendar year to focus on continuing education, programming, training, assessments, and materials preparation without clients' present or billable requirements.
The position we are looking to fill will have a blended caseload including early intervention clients (ages 2-6) and school-aged clients (ages 7-20).

Position: Full-time BCBA
Salary Range (Based on Experience):
- $65,000 - $75,000

Maintain Credentials/Certifications/Training:
- Maintain an active BCBA Certification and remain in good standing with the BACB
- Meet continuing education requirements for BCBA Certification
- Maintain an active Missouri License to practice as BCBA
- Maintain annual Liability Insurance
- Complete 8-hour Supervisory Training
- Complete annual Confidentiality, Abuse and Neglect, Behavior Crisis, and Infection Control training.
BCBA Responsibilities:
- Hold a caseload of 6-15 clients (a combination of full-time and part-time clients). Caseload size varies based on the treatment intensity/necessity of clients.
- Maintain weekly billables at 75% of hours worked (30 billable hours per 40hr work week) with the exception of learner breaks. Billable hours include a combination of all billable codes.
- Co-supervise 4-8 RBTs/BT to ensure ongoing treatment integrity and fidelity as well as maintain RBT supervisory requirements.
- Function in a supervisory capacity and provide oversight to all areas of programming including the training of implementers, teachers, other Therapists, and behavior technicians.
- Assist in training and conducting follow-up training in Applied Behavior Analysis, using both discrete trial training and natural environment training models of teaching.
- Facilitate and assist in the development and identification of resources and support information for clients and their families.
- Use assessment tools, to conduct functional assessments and analyses when appropriate, and to develop appropriate behaviors strategies and interventions to teach appropriate behaviors and reduce maladaptive behaviors.
- Conduct skills assessments
- Provide ongoing support and training to implementers and behavior technicians in the implementation of ABA principles and methodology and behavior reduction strategies.
- Create an ongoing data collection system to establish baseline data and programmatic efficacy for all clients, and to analyze data on a frequent and going basis to guide programming.
- Develop behavior plans/treatment plans for all consumers with a focus on teaching and other antecedent strategies for reducing problematic behaviors and promoting the acquisition of skills.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, of communication between all personnel, care staff, and families, and provide ongoing feedback to government and commercial insurance companies.
- Perform clinical and administrative peer review and appeals, case management, and case consultation activities.
- Utilize Central Reach to enter session notes within 72 hours of each session.
