Transplant Coordinator - RN - Heart Program - Days - Columbia University Irving Medical Center
As a transplant coordinator, you will oversee the patients progress from the time they are referred through their transplant surgery; educate patients and their supports about the many facets of transplantation; assist in the clinical management of patients, and ensure high quality, regulatory compliant service is provided.
This is a full time position between 8am to 6:30pm (4 days a week), with rotating weekends inclusive of on-call shift once or twice a week. A total of 4 On- call shifts are required each month. This position is located at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center.
Preferred Criteria
-
Transplant experience
- Nursing Experience in hospital Cardiac setting
- Self-motivated, energetic, autonomous
Required Criteria

At least three years of acute care experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- Current New York State RN license

BCLS certification
