Maximus has immediate openings for Qualified Mental Health Professionals in Illinois.
We are seeking Master's level professionals to administer assessments on a contractual, fee-for-service basis. This is a wonderful opportunity to earn extra money and set your own schedule while providing a valuable service to the adult citizens of Illinois.
Opportunity Overview:
Maximus is a leader in providing specialized assessment services and is partnered with the State of Illinois to administer PASRR (Pre-admission Screening and Resident Review) assessments.
PASRR is a federal requirement designed to ensure that all individuals seeking admittance to a Medicaid-certified nursing facility are evaluated for mental illness, offered the most appropriate setting for their needs, and receive the services they need in those settings.
We are partnering with quality-driven mental heath professionals in Illinois to administer these PASRR assessments on a PRN basis.
Assessments can be scheduled during a time that is convenient for the assessor, but the ideal candidate will have some regular business hours available, as these must be completed within 24 hours from the time of acceptance.
PASRR assessments are primarily administered in hospitals and nursing facilities where the individual is located. Each independent contractor will complete assessments at these locations within their community and surrounding communities. Assessments must be completed in person.
We are seeking candidates in the following counties: McLean, Bureau, Sangamon, Lee, Whiteside, Winnebago, Dekalb, Kane, Champaign, Vemillion, Ford, Peoria, Franklin, Jefferson, Marion, and Lake.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Must have a Master’s degree in a human services or related field. Professional license is not required.
- Minimum of two years adult clinical behavioral health experience.
- Must be conflict of interest free, which includes: no current employment by the State of Illinois, nursing facilities, prime agencies, or managed care organizations.
If you meet our requirements and this sounds like something you would enjoy, we would love to hear from you!!
