Manufacturing Maintenance / Electrician / Millwright / Technician Position Available
Keltec Technolab, Inc., located in Twinsburg, is a family-owned, Ohio-based manufacturer of industrial filtration products for the compressed air, refrigeration, and natural gas industries. We are looking to add an additional skilled, experienced, Maintenance / Electrician / Millwright / Technician to the Maintenance team of our growing manufacturing business. Direct-hire, 1st shift, full-time position available, in our clean, modern, non-union facilities. Company owned/provided tools.
Primary responsibilities include:
Maintenance and repair of all aspects of manufacturing equipment, machinery, automated production lines, buildings/facilities, and material handling equipment. Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems.
Assisting Production operators with equipment setup, changeovers, and adjustments.
New equipment and machinery installation projects.
Assisting Engineering and Production with developing and optimizing equipment settings for new products.
Working with outside vendors for contracted services and with equipment/machinery manufacturers’ service and installation technicians.
Candidates must have a demonstrated ability of being hands-on, technically-minded, detail-oriented, and have excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, and well versed on proper repair techniques and methods.
At least 2 years of relevant experience as maintenance, electrician, millwright or technician, working in an industrial/factory/manufacturing setting, on production machinery and equipment.
Applicants must have strong mechanical aptitude, and good knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems.
Candidates must be proficient with common electrical testing and repair equipment, hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment.
An understanding of basic electrical schematics and wiring diagrams is required, for troubleshooting, diagnosing and correcting electrical and controls issues on automated manufacturing machinery, equipment and assembly lines, including AC and DC circuits, low voltage DC, and up to 480V 3-phase systems.
Experience running conduit and electrical wiring, including machine control cabinets, would be helpful, but not required.
Some knowledge of PLC control systems, logic and programming experience would be helpful, but not required.
Metal fabrication, machining and welding skills would be helpful, but not required.
