Quattro Climate Control is a national company specializing in HVAC installation for custom homes, multi-homes, and commercial projects. We are in need of a detail-oriented Start-up/Service Technician in the Phoenix area. The individual chosen for this position should be able to complete full start-ups on new multi-home and commercial systems, provide warranty service, and maintain HVAC systems. They should also be skilled in fine-tuning each system in addition to providing detailed, well-written documentation. Qualified candidates should have a strong technical knowledge of HVAC/R systems, excellent communication and customer service skills, and the ability to work independently.
To be successful in this role, customer satisfaction, safety, and comfort should be your top priority. Ideal candidates should be patient and have excellent organizational and troubleshooting skills.
HVAC Technician Responsibilities:
- Installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC/R systems and equipment.
- Must perform warranty service on all company installed equipment.
- Have understanding of several types of EMS/BAC systems and equipment.
- Ability to diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC/R systems.
- Able to perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
- Ability to provide technical direction and on-the-job training.
- Keep daily logs and records of all start-up and maintenance functions.
- Ensure compliance with applicable standards and with the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
- Must comply with service standards, work instructions, and customers' requirements.
- Ensure that all work performed meets local, state, and federal codes and regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.
HVAC Technician Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- 4+ years’ experience as an HVAC technician, and willingness to continue education in HVAC/R field.
- Valid driver’s license, good driving record.
- Have understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Ability to work independently and with a team.
- Proficient in balancing air and water treatment systems in line with HVAC protocols.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in reading schematics and work plans.
- Ability to work after hours, over weekends, and holidays with very short notice.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds and work in tight spaces as needed.

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
