Job Summary
THIS IS A REMOTE/HYBRID ROLE
The Senior Application Analyst:
- is responsible for the analysis, building, testing and implementing of
information systems and solutions.
- is accountable for providing knowledge and skills in assigned software
applications and various system environments.
- is responsible for developing and following project schedules, plans,
reviews and timelines.
- is responsible for functioning as a technical resource and to provide
knowledge in system installations, building, testing, customization and
production support of complex information systems.
- participates in project teams, coordinates work assignments and performs
complex problem resolution as identified.
- designs training plans, conducts and evaluates training sessions for end-
users and Information Systems staff.
- may lead or support the Project Management activities required to deliver
business-oriented, valuable and relevant solutions.
- may report directly to the Lead Application Analyst or Manager or Director
and works under the guidance of the Lead Application Analyst.

Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree, in Information Technology, Business Administration or Data Analytics or HR
or Workday Certification on Prism
Licenses/Certifications: Workday Certification on Prism
Experience / Knowledge / Skills:

Five (5) years' experience in implementing and/or configuring HR system

Experience in HCM system configuration (Workday Required)
-
Advanced experience developing Workday reporting.
-
Deep experience implementing and maintaining Workday Prism.
-
Experience leveraging Workday Discovery Boards and People Analytics.
-
Experiential knowledge of the HR function, People Data Analytics and Data Visualization.

Workday Certifications in one or two of the following: Prism, Reporting, Security, Integrations, HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Talent Management & Recruiting.
- Deep experience in Workday HCM configuration and maintenance and Reporting + Prism analytics configuration and maintenance. Analytics experience highly desired.

Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

Advanced computer skills required; strong knowledge of Microsoft Office; advanced knowledge of Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, macros)

Good customer orientation, time management, organizational and interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication skills.
Principal Accountabilities

Perform Workday Reporting and Prism Analytics administrative functions: security maintenance, business process configuration, tenant configuration, data loads, integrations and upgrades.

Provide day to day operational support including researching issues, unexpected results or process flaws and recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet system and workflow requirements.

Work with the team on Workday releases and other system releases or patches; determine impact, participate in regression testing for new system features and communication of changes/benefits to end users.

Partner with COEs and drive requirement gathering, business process review, solution design, project management, testing, training, and document functional specifications

Identify future Workday system enhancements or functionality that may be beneficial to the organization. Identify strategies, risks, and options, recommend approaches and mitigations to meet client/functional requirements. Drive adoption through company-wide education and communication.

Maintain proper change management documentation to satisfy the company's internal/external audit controls. Ensure that procedures are followed, and adequate internal controls are maintained.

Ensure Memorial Hermann policies, procedures and standards are adhered to within budgetary specifications including time management, supply management, productivity and quality of service with alignment to goals that may impact safe care to patients, staff and visitors.
