SCSI/ ServiceStar is seeking a Sales Representative/Business Development/Account Manager for the Concord, NC. and Surrounding areas. This person must live in the sales territory.
Desired Results
· Sales Accomplishments: Meeting or exceeding sales goals, selling new products and expanding current products to existing customers, prospecting (maintaining sales funnel for new accounts), and closing new accounts from the prospect target list.
Desired Qualifications
· Job Knowledge: Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of all aspects of the sales process. Product knowledge, market trends, policies and procedures, application knowledge, presentation and demonstration skills, and computer skills.
· Planning, Organizing & Prioritizing: Ability to plan, anticipate needs, set goals, schedule, and prioritize work, and manage time and account base.
- Job effort: Qualifying targets, prospecting, cold calling, managing accounts and territory. Success in bringing on new accounts.
- Adaptability: Ability to grasp, interpret, and adjust to changing circumstances, and pressures, and the ability to handle more than one task at a time.
· Initiative & Creativity: Ability to take effective action independently, originate new ideas, and suggest more effective and efficient techniques.
· Dependability: Ability to be relied upon to consistently assume and carry out commitments and obligations of the job. Respond to questions/ requests from management, customers, and home office, quickly follow up on leads, and participate in corporate initiatives.
· Quality of Work: Attention to detail, thoroughness, accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of work; written reports to customers, skill in presentations and ability to present programs.
· Attitude: Ability to cooperate with others, maintain the “team spirit” and project a positive attitude toward his/ her work, customers, and company. Share information that builds synergy within and across divisions.
· Communication Ability: Ability to communicate thoughts orally and in writing. Clear and concise communications. Demonstrate effective listening skills and use open-ended questions.
· Interpersonal Skills: Effectiveness working with and/ or building relationships with customers, prospects, managers, other reps, home office, and the public.
