WHAT YOU’LL DO
In the Assistant General Manager role, you will:
· Support the General Manager in day-to-day operations of the restaurant.
· Direct the daily operations of a restaurant in the General Manager’s absence.
· Ensure the restaurant environment is always safe for both team members and guests.
· Greet all guests arriving at the restaurant in a timely manner.
· Handle all orders and inquiries in a friendly and professional manner.
· Immediately notify the General Manager of all guest issues or complaints.
· Resolve low level guest issues with efficiency and a positive attitude.
· Control cash, property, product, and equipment.
· Build sales and control labor and food costs.
· Maintain operational standards and requirements in the restaurant; identify and communicate maintenance problems to the facilities department.
· Coach, mentor, and develop team members to ensure a high-performing restaurant team.
· Leverage the support of the Restaurant Support Center.
· Ensure all risk management issues follow company standards.

A DAY IN THE LIFE
So, what does a typical workday look like to a Wing Expert in this role? Your day will consist of many different things. Below are some areas you should expect to work in daily:
· Ensure each guest receives outstanding guest service by providing a friendly environment.
· Adhere to all company policies and operational procedures in accordance with the Operations Manual and Visual QSC in WingYou.
· Train, develop and communicate with all staff as well as assess performance on a regular basis.
· Resolves guest complaints with efficiency and with a positive attitude.
· Facilities Maintenance to include proper cleaning and sanitation, and repairs or replacement of damaged small wares or equipment.
· Follows team member and guest safety procedures.
· Ensures proper staffing, to include labor control
· Plan and assign daily goals, tasks, and assignments. Assure proper completion through follow-up.
· Takes all precautions to ensure food safety to include date checks, ensuring time and temps charts are honestly and accurately completed, and proper storage of food grade items.
· Situational Awareness of what is going on throughout the entire restaurant.
· Understand and can perform daily cash management procedures, including cashier checkouts.
· Any other duties assigned by General Manager.
Minimum Requirements:
- Previous restaurant experience is a plus
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Maintain dependable schedule and predictable attendance
- Have reliable transportation
