Job Description
The Front Desk Agent will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our guests and guests' families. They will be responsible for greeting guests, checking in guests, providing information about the property, answering questions about the hotel, and assisting with any special requests. The Front Desk Agent will also be responsible for maintaining the hotel’s visual appearance to ensure that our guests are presented with a high-quality experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist guests as they enter the hotel
- Provide information about the hotel, its services, and its facilities
- Answer guests' questions about the hotel and its services
- Respond to maintenance requests and promptly provide relief as needed after completion of work orders
- Maintain the cleanliness of the front desk area and all other areas assigned to the Front Desk Agent (i.e., restrooms, kitchen area)
- Ensure that front desk area is stocked with supplies as needed and report any shortages
- Perform other duties as assigned by management or other departmental managers
Skills & Qualifications
- Professional appearance with a positive attitude toward customers and colleagues
- Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work well under pressure while remaining calm and professional at all times
- Ability to remain calm during stressful situations (e.g., reading reports of guests’ complaints or receiving awards from management)
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a sense of urgency
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week
