Schedule: Monday's - Friday's; 8am - 5pm
- Customer Service Rep responding to calls from internal and external customers (50-75 calls a day)
- Calls will come from the field sales team, customers (bars, restaurants, etc.), and suppliers from time to time
- Many calls will center around pricing and accounting:
- Sales Rep will call before walking into a customer’s office to collect funds
- Customer Service Rep will say “this is the invoice ## and dollar amount that’s tied to the invoice to reference with the customer”
- Alpha is the system they use for accounting
- Only needs to know how to navigate the system and read what’s on the screen
- No accounting skills required
- Must haves:
- High School diploma
- Effective communication
- Organized, personable, with good follow through
- Ability to work with a high sense of urgency and handle high volume of calls
- Quick learner; they will train on the internal systems, but need someone dependable who can pick up on things
- Some computer skills – all Windows based; Alpha, Excel (just reading reports, no formulas, V lookups, etc.)
- Nice to haves:
- Beverage industry/distribution experience
- Personable and warm; can defuse a situation since tensions are often high
- Emotional intelligence
- A good team player who is diligent and possesses good follow through
