I. POSITION OBJECTIVE
This person is heavily involved in the troubleshooting, repair and monitoring of production equipment/process problems in manufacturing. On a daily basis, must be able to effectively communicate (orally and written) with employees and other departmental personnel.
II. QUALIFICATIONS
- 3-5 years' experience in the troubleshooting electric and maintenance of industrial equipment and machinery.
- Experienced with interpreting electrical schematics and drawings efficiently.
- Capable of programming drives and understand PLC logic.
- Intermediate knowledge of standard software (MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook).
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Must observe all safety precautions and regulations at all times in all areas where duties are performed. Will be responsible for reporting all safety hazards and potential unsafe working conditions. Must actively participate in safety meetings.
- Must understand and comply with all current plant policies and procedures.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical/mechanical equipment failures.
- Work with the Operators to learn the processes associated with operating an extruder and printing press.
- Perform preventative maintenance on all manufacturing equipment.
- Perform maintenance tasks, i.e. replacing electrical switches, current & voltage meters, replacing AC & DC motors, heater bands, temp controllers, thermocouples, solenoids, counters, and Vector drives.
- Monitor the chillers and air compressors.
- Other duties as assigned with or without accommodation.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
