POSITION DESCRIPTION
We are actively recruiting a Technology Project Consultant to join our growing firm. The ideal candidate must be highly motivated, team-oriented, and organized with a passion for problem solving. As a Project Consultant, you will be expected to leverage industry colleagues and partners to maintain up-to-date knowledge on applicable systems to innovatively serve our growing clientele.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Continued education of technology systems, including Security, Audiovisual, Structured Cabling, Telecommunications, and Nurse Call, to innovatively advise clients and team members.
- Interpret and translate client needs into system strategy and infrastructure technical design documents.
- Drive project meetings (virtually and on-site) with owners, clients, architects, and contractors in order to extract the project scope of work, current and future needs, process and workflow, and client expectations. Review and issue meeting minutes produced by Project Coordinator.
- Communicate and collaborate with Project Coordinator for production of technical design documents.
- Work with Project Coordinator to plan and forecast tasks in accordance with the project schedule, and estimate time needed to complete such tasks.
- Coordinate with design team, construction team, utility providers, equipment manufacturers, and local authorities to investigate and gather requirements to be implemented in the design.
- Create and maintain cost opinions per project.
- Development of Technical Specifications utilizing Microsoft Word.
- Attend project job site visits during construction to monitor progress and observe installed construction; produce observation notes and punch lists utilizing Microsoft Word.
- Maintain organized and detailed records of communications with clients, contractors, vendors, and team members via Microsoft Outlook.
- Review of construction shop drawings and submittals using Bluebeam Revu.
- Maintain a continued focus on and take pride in the firm reputation and brand.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree (required) | Electrical Engineer, Information Systems, or Architectural.
- RCDD (preferred, not required) .
- PMP Certification (preferred, not required).
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook).
- Working knowledge of Bluebeam Revu.
- Working knowledge of Autodesk Revit (preferred).
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Self-motivated, deadline driven and highly organized.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing situations.
- Effective listener with ability to understand needs of clientele and team members.
- Interact effectively with project team, client and reviewing authorities.
- Excellent presentation skills.
