The successful case manager will be responsible for being the main source of contact for our clients. We assign every new client to a case manager. Your responsibilities will include calling current clients about the status of their medical treatment and keeping them up to date on their case. You will also be in contact with insurance adjusters and medical providers. The purpose of the overall work of the case managers is to gather the case material necessary for our attorneys. This position has the potential to sit in our Chicago Loop or Beverly offices. This role has the potential to be on a hybrid remote schedule. Fully remote is available with plaintiff's personal injury experience.
Requirements:
- Conveys confidence on the phone
- Sets the tone and the pace of the client phone call
- Shows empathy to clients and puts them at ease during their difficult time
- Demonstrates exceptional communication skills and active listening ability
- Ability to balance multiple priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Customer service experience is preferred
- Experience with case management software is a plus, but not required
