Physical Therapist / PTA
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in providing physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. The role involves working with patients to help them regain movement and manage pain following injuries or illnesses.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the physical therapist to develop and implement treatment plans for patients.
- Assist patients with exercises, stretches, and therapeutic activities.
- Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions.
- Educate patients on proper techniques for exercises and activities.
- Administer modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and heat/cold therapy.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized therapy area.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements:
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Current CPR certification.
- State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
- Strong anatomy and physiology knowledge.
- Experience in orthopedics, acute care, or trigger point therapy is a plus.
- Ability to provide compassionate patient care in a clinic or inpatient setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay: $34.00 - $51.36 per hour
