Summary
The Senior Director Labor Relations is responsible for developing and/or customizing labor relations and employee relations solutions and products within multiple geographic areas and global vertical markets. The director of Labor and Employee Relations position is designed to improve sales force productivity by reducing the amount of time the lease sales force spends on potential deals with an unacceptable labor climate or contract. The position reports to the Group Director of Labor and Employee Relations.
Essential Functions**
- Responsible to the design and delivery of training to all managers/supervisors in order to maintain a non-union working environment, or maintain a high performing organization in a labor environment
- Sizes up situations and develops sound strategies for union campaigns
- Negotiates contracts that are in alignment with company objectives
- Participates in all facets of the business to optimize start-up team actions and plans

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required in Business, Human Resources, Organizational Behavior or Labor Relations
- Ph.D. preferred Juris Doctorate with expertise in Labor and Employment Law
- Ten (10) years or more advanced labor negotiations and union campaigns experience required
- Ten (10) years or more demonstrated experience in business process improvement and business consulting required

Salary is determined based on internal equity; internal salary ranges; market
data/ranges; applicant’s skills; prior relevant experience; certain degrees or
certifications, etc.
The salary for this position ranges from $180K to $220K. Employees may also be eligible
to receive an annual bonus, as applicable
