Looking for an extraordinary Patient Care Coordinator (part-time) to complement my naturopathic medical practice in San Mateo. I’ve been in the community for over 15 years supporting patients with a variety of health challenges. I am dedicated to helping my patients get to the root cause of their health concerns leading them to feeling and living a more fulfilling life. My practice specializes in naturopathic care, ozone therapies (IV and prolozone), IV therapy, digestive disorders, hormone disorders, chronic, complex cases, and more.

Look no further, I am seeking a Part Time (24 hours) positive, energetic patient care coordinator that thrives on running a productive, upbeat office, and front desk. I am a solo practitioner that requires an individual to act as my right-hand support.
Position Overview

Patient Care Coordinator responsibilities:
- Check patients in and out, print invoices, process payments, and manage email communication
- Manage patient files to ensure all necessary info is present for upcoming appointments
- Customer service oriented with emphasis on phone presence and communication
- Ordering and tracking medical supplies and supplements
- Basic electronic medical record management
- Help develop new procedures to increase the efficiency and success of the practice
- Ensure the practice is clean and tidy
Qualifications:
- Superb organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and telephone skills with a professional / welcoming demeanor
- Interest in natural medicine and healthy living a plus
- Enjoy working in a small team
- Willingness to learn
- Great initiative and follow through are essential
- Ability to think on your feet
- Calm under pressure
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities and switch gears quickly
Requirements:
- 2+ years experience in Administrative, front office and reception a must!
- 4-5+ years of customer service experience
- We are striving to be a paperless practice so excellent computer skills are needed
- Knowledge of Microsoft word, excel, and google docs
- 2+ years experience in a medical office is a plus
- Experience with apple/mac computers is necessary

Compensation and Availabilty
- Part time - 24 - 30 hrs/wk (benefits to be discussed during the interview)
- Hours: Monday 9:00 - 1:00, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 9:00 – 6:00; (some flexibility with hours).
- Availability needed on Mondays and Wednesdays during the training period
- The pay rate for this position is $24 – $26/hr DOE
