We provide outstanding service and top quality team uniforms, apparel and gear to athletic departments of high schools, colleges, universities and leagues. Metro Team Sports is a continuously growing company that has been in business for nearly 20 years.
We are looking for a Customer Support Specialist for our On-line Store (Web) Dept. to begin immediately. We offer a hybrid work from home/in office schedule for new hires AFTER six months in the office 5 days a week. After the six months, this position would require 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.
We are seeking a full time 9am – 5pm team member but we will consider a qualified candidate with a 9am – 3pm schedule.
The Customer Support Specialist is a growth opportunity to learn all aspects of the business. This position requires daily contact with on-line customers on the phone and via e-mail. The Customer Support Specialist will assist our Account Coordinators and Managers with achieving a seamless ordering process for our customer.
Additional job responsibilities would include:
· Check customer service e-mails and respond to customer inquiries by e-mail and phone
· Check vendor inventory weekly to ensure sufficient stock for pending orders
· Enter sales orders using our industry specific software
· Managing customer relationships throughout the ordering process
· Coordinate with off-site production on a high volume of orders
· Update production worksheet with ship dates, backorders, etc.
· Assist Account Managers and Coordinators with preparing orders for billing
· Organize and prioritize a wide variety of tasks
Requirements:
· Minimum 2 year college degree required, 4 year college degree preferred
· 1-2 years of proven customer service and/or administrative experience in a fast paced office environment
· Extensive knowledge of all aspects of Google docs
· Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
· Highly organized team player who strives to provide unparalleled customer service
· Detail oriented and ability to meet deadlines
Job Compensation:
· Starting salary of $42,000+ commensurate with experience
