Here's what you'd do:
- The team of Field Service Technicians helps Air Framer / Airline customers during the build of the Aircraft specific to installation issues, damaged parts, reworking pickups, cosmetic defects, and any customer relations issues we have.
- Rework areas include Receiving, BFE, Factory, and Flight lines relating to all built Aircraft with client products.
- All rework performed at the Air Framer must adhere to client drawings, specifications, and specific rework instructions.
- This position will work under general supervision and report to the OSS Manager daily.
- This position handles moderately complex issues and problems and refers more highly complex issues to higher-level technicians.
- This position has the power and control to certify the work performed by approved engineering.
- Rework and stamp pickups self-identified or written by the Air Framer or customer during the build of the Aircraft.
- Replace/troubleshoot faulty electronic components and other damaged parts, adjust misaligned panels / trim pieces, assist the Air Framer seat installation team, and other miscellaneous tasks.
- Sustains a high-quality level of workmanship at all times.
- Respond promptly to all communication (telephone) with Air Framer personnel and customers.
- Maintain a good rapport with Air Framer personnel and customers.
- Follow client /Air Framer safety guidelines or processes established by the organization at all times.
- Submits accurate part order requests and understands the POA / SOA process at Air Framer/client.
- Responsible for driving company van and other technicians safely around Air Framer/client Facilities.
- Attend client daily standup/tie-in meetings.
- Adhere to Air Framer /client training requirements that relate to Flight line, Safety, and other course overviews throughout the year.
- Coordinate verbally with QA's, Engineers, leads, Technicians, and other key Air Framer/client personnel daily.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills / Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years of Field Service experience related to troubleshooting and repairs.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Associates Degree
- Natural mechanical ability with hand and power tools
- Basic working knowledge of CMMs, Engineering Drawings, and other technical documents.
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with MS Office applications.

Pay: $63,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
