Cumberland Cooling Inc is a small, close-knit company that excels in providing our customers with a quality product that they can be proud of. We genuinely pride ourselves on the quality of work we do, and the level of service we provide our customers. We know every company out there says that, but we live up to it.
We are seeking a maintenance technician with at least a minimal working knowledge of HVAC and great customer skills, and is always looking to improve! We are all about everyone getting better, and we work together, as an actual TEAM to get everyone there.
The only people we care about more than our customers, are our employees. Sounds cliche, but we live by it. When the owners started the company, they made it a goal to create the kind of company they wanted to work for. And we've successfully operated that way.
We put tremendous value on building customer trust, and at the end of the day, we can all say that we did the best we can and provided our customers with the best service they could find. This is what we live by.
We expect a lot from our employees, but in return we give a lot. We believe quality of life is important, we believe employees should get all of the training, tools and resources they need to be the best at their job that they can be. We also believe that a friendly, helpful, encouraging and determined work environment can make even the most frustrating of tasks easier.
Cross training among other job roles is important to us. This can also lead to advancing your career from a maintenance technician to another role with higher paying opportunity if desired.
Required: High school diploma or GED. Experience with power tools, sheet metal, and electrical is helpful. A background in HVAC is preferred. This job may include heavy lifting at times, climbing ladders, crawling, attic work, and sometimes small spaces.
We treat our customers with respect and attention. Ability to talk to customers in a professional, articulate, intelligent manner is required. Ability to cut up and have fun at the shop is also required.
