Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Accounts Payable Administrator. As an Accounts Payable Administrator, you will be responsible for processing and managing all accounts payable transactions for a specified branch of our company. This is a vital role in ensuring accurate financial records and maintaining strong vendor relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable invoices and ensure timely and accurate payment.
- Review and verify invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports for accuracy.
- Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions.
- Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any payment or invoice issues.
- Provide support for audits and compliance with SOX regulations.
- Assist with other accounting tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
-Associate's degree in accounting or related field preferred
- Proven experience working in accounts payable or general accounting role
- Strong knowledge of corporate accounting principles and 3-way match.
- Proficient in using accounting software (Vista experience preferred)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
