Vice President of Compliance & Regulatory Affairs:
This position is on-site in Plano, TX

What You Must Have::
- Current State Registered Nurse License
- Bachelor’s Degree in health related field preferred.
- Minimum of five (5) years' experience in Hospice compliance, nursing management and/or QAPI management, strong Hospice experience, preferably with Quality/QAPI experience, and two (2) years medical-surgical or hospital experience prior to hospice.
- Certified in Health Care Compliance (CHC) preferred.
- Working knowledge of Homecare Homebase EMR preferred
- Current Drivers License, reliable transportation, and provide ongoing valid and current auto liability insurance.

What You Will Do:
- Communicates the mission, ethics and goals of the organization.
- Promotes a “culture of compliance” by proactively raising the visibility of Hospice compliance risks and requirements through face-to-face meetings and outreach; development of compliance communications and training opportunities.
- Development and direction of the Hospice Compliance and Ethics Program and annual Compliance Risk Assessment and Work Plan.
- Communicate and train hospice staff on CHAP, State and Federal hospice Regulations and complete knowledge and understanding of the functions of a hospice organization.
- Writing and reviewing CHAP and State Plan of Corrections.
- Proven ability to develop trusting relationships to gain support and achieve results at all levels of the organization.
- Developing and maintaining Governing Body minutes.
- Internal Auditing and OFI Plan of Corrections.
- Initiate and contribute to the development and distribution of policies and procedures in alignment with regulatory requirements and guidance, and corporate objectives.
- Training of employees with regard to regulatory requirements and Regulatory Affairs policies and procedures.
- Participate in all mandatory staff in-services and meetings.
- Timely submission of all documentation.
- Conduct all business activities in a professional and ethical manner.
- Performance of other duties as required.
- Ensure overall compliance with local, state and federal laws, Medicare regulations, and established personnel policies and procedures.
