Summary:
Aristo Intensive Behavioral Health Treatment Services is currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Therapist to join our residential treatment facility team in Renton, Washington, on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a master's degree in a related behavioral health field (psychology, counseling, etc.) and prior experience working as a therapist within a behavioral healthcare facility. While licensure is not required, candidates should have a strong clinical background and experience in providing therapeutic treatment to clients. Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to evaluate their mental health and substance abuse treatment needs.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and clinical diagnosis.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to clients utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities.
- Facilitate psychoeducational groups and therapeutic activities to support clients in their recovery journey.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary treatment team to coordinate care and ensure continuity of services.
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to address evolving needs and goals.
- Document all client interactions, treatment interventions, and progress notes accurately and in a timely manner.
- Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and clinical supervision sessions as required.
- Provide crisis intervention and support to clients experiencing acute mental health or substance use issues.
- Maintain confidentiality of client information and adhere to ethical and professional standards of practice.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Master's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related behavioral health field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working as a therapist within a behavioral healthcare facility.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities for mental health and substance use disorders.
- Experience creating individualized treatment plans and conducting thorough assessments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with clients and colleagues.
- Proficiency in clinical documentation and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to working with clients in a therapeutic setting.
