Job Title: Customer Service Representative - Ecommerce
Location: Salt Lake City, UT (candidate is expected to primarily work at our downtown location)
Company Overview: Caputo's is a locally owned family business looking for friendly and attentive service representatives to join our passionate crew of food enthusiasts providing world class customer care. We help customers with online specialty food orders shipped in the U.S. & Canada.
Job Overview: As a customer service representative, you will be responsible for providing best in class customer care, giving recommendations about specialty food items as well as offering resolutions to issues with nationwide shipments via email, phone and live chat. A strong candidate will have exceptional organizational skills, the ability to adapt to changes and make pivots in tasks and workflows (sometimes in other departments of the company in a sometimes high-paced environment) as well as have creative problem solving skills and at least 3 years of customer service experience.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Providing attentive, friendly service, giving recommendations about specialty food items, and offering resolutions to issues with nationwide shipments via email, phone, and live chat
- Communicating, documenting, and following up proactively and carefully with customers and various departments as well as collaborating with crew members
- Making positive experiences out of each interaction to build customer trust, loyalty and good will
- Using spreadsheets and other software to organize and track tasks
- Assisting in maintaining accurate online product listings (information, pricing, stock levels, images)
- Assisting other departments with ancillary needs & tasks as necessary
- Reviewing online product listings across multiple channels for accuracy & optimization
- Following detailed directions to complete both routine and incidental tasks
Qualifications
- Reliable, punctual, works well in a team environment and is fun and enthusiastic
- High attention to detail with strong written & verbal communication skills
- Is highly accountable
- Ability to use & learn computer software, phones
- Strong customer service skills & strong comfortability on the phone
- Spreadsheet and CRM experience strongly preferred
- Specialty food knowledge and work experience preferred
- Operates in a level and consistent manner
- Is proactive, persistent, and driven to execution
- Takes direction well while being able to self-direct
- Experience with WordPress, Amazon Seller Central, Google Sheets, or similar platforms preferred
- Typing (40+ wpm preferred)
- M-F 9am - 5pm availability
- Occasional evening/weekend availability

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
