Home Health RN Pediatric Skilled Nursing
SUMMARY
The registered nurse plans, organizes, and directs home health care and is experienced in nursing, with emphasis on community health education/experience. The professional nurse builds from the resources of the community to plan and direct services to meet the needs of individuals and families within their homes and communities. Private Duty Nursing (PDN) involves home visits ranging from 4-12 hours per day.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Completes an initial, comprehensive, and ongoing comprehensive assessment of patient and family to determine home health needs. Provides a complete physical assessment and history of current and previous illness(es).
- Provides professional nursing care by utilizing all elements of the nursing process.
- Assesses and evaluates patient's status, writing and initiating a plan of care.
- Initiates the plan of care and makes necessary revisions as patient status and needs change.
- Provide Gtube care and feedings, Trach Care, and/or Vent monitoring based off experience and patient's needs.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Bachelor's degree, with one year of hospice or home health care experience, preferred.
- Valid unrestricted Nevada RN license.
- Current licensure in State and CPR/BLS certification.
- Valid driver's license.
- Bilingual is a plus.
- New Grads welcome.

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
