Oakmont Management Group is seeking an Office Assistant to join our dedicated, dynamic and fast-growing team!
*This job is located in our beautiful Irvine office*
$28 - $30 per hour- office hours of 8:30 – 5:00 M-F
The Office Coordinator is responsible for greeting visitors, maintaining office organization and efficiency, making travel arrangements, event coordination, answering a multi-line telephone, and providing clerical support to the administrative staff, in accordance with the company’s mission and values. The position must work with a high degree of discretion and maintain confidentiality of sensitive business information, while communicating effectively in order to ensure a continuous and smooth workflow for the office. Essential Job Functions
- Represents the Home Office professionally by greeting visitors and responding to telephone inquiries with courtesy.
- Answer telephones, record, and/or direct calls to appropriate individuals in a timely, clear, concise, and professional manner.
- Ensures the effective operation of the Home Office by ensuring all equipment is operational, supplies are maintained in appropriate volume, and conference rooms, break rooms and other common areas are tidy.
- Assist with event coordination
- Maintains a high level of organization within assigned areas of responsibility.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent ; some college preferred.
- Experience in a multi-site company serving a wide range of customers is required.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs such as Word and Excel required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
