We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team, responsible for performing repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting on a range of gas and diesel powered vehicles and equipment. This role involves both basic and intermediate level tasks, including preventive maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair fleet vehicles and equipment using effective troubleshooting techniques.
- Utilize computer diagnostic tools for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance across various light and heavy vehicle systems.
- Perform welding repairs as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of parts usage and repairs in the fleet management software.
Qualifications:
- Strong aptitude for maintenance and repair work.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to diagnose issues accurately.
- Effective time management and decision-making abilities.
- Demonstrated initiative and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- High School diploma or equivalent; completion of auto and equipment trade schools preferred.
- Proficiency in brakes, oil changes, DOT inspections, electrical systems, and tires.
