Warehouse Superintendent
Position Overview: The Warehouse Superintendent is responsible for managing the daily operations of the Warehouse, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. This includes overseeing the organization, storage, and distribution of all goods and materials, as well as maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing and supervising the work of warehouse personnel, including employee training, scheduling, and performance management.
- Managing the organization and storage of all items and materials in the warehouse.
- Maintaining accurate records of goods and materials, such as inventory levels and orders.
- Ensuring all safety and environmental regulations are followed.
- Analyzing data and preparing reports.
- Developing and implementing warehouse processes and procedures.
- Facilitating cross-functional communication between departments.
- Resolving issues related to warehousing operations.
- Ensuring quality control throughout the organization.
- Maintaining relationships with carriers, suppliers, and subcontractors.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in Warehouse Management.
- Proficiency in MRP, SAP, WMS, IT ERP/MRP/WMS Systems, and Data Collection.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Ability to motivate and engage staff.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Working knowledge of Lean Principles, Six Sigma, Procurement, Production, Packaging, Maintenance, Accounting, Engineering, and Quality Control.
- Fluency in the English language.
