Job Overview:
Stepping Stones Academy Lead Teachers provide quality, individualized, early childhood education by implementing developmentally appropriate practices in an inclusive environment.
Under the supervision of the director, our teachers works as a team with the Educational needs of each individual child. Teachers plan and implement a variety of developmentally appropriate activities for children that will enhance their growth and development, promote social competence and ensure parental involvement in all aspects of the program.
- Must have knowledge, skills and experiences needed to perform the assigned functions responsibly.
- Must be familiar with the backgrounds and culture of families in our program. The right candidate must be able to serve and effectively communicate, to the effectively , with children and families.
We are not requiring for previous experience in childcare. We will TRAIN YOU! However, if you have worked in customer service and have a stable (tenure) work history we encourage to apply.
- Must possess excellent communication skills.
- Must possess the ability to provide leadership and stability for program continuity.
- Must possess the ability to move/lift children and/ or lift light objects up to 50 pounds
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - High school diploma or it's equivalence
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must pass a Drug Test .
Must pass the Background Check.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $11.85 - $12.33 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
