Summary
The Senior Contract Compliance Specialist will work as a business partner with various levels of management to assist with contract compliance and reporting to the cities in which the company has exclusive franchises. The Senior Compliance Analyst will be responsible for financial analysis, disposal reporting, and municipal fee calculations at each month-end. This position reports to the Sr. Director Contract Compliance.
Job Description
- Prepare monthly reports of municipal franchise fees and other fees (“city fees”) by municipality.
- Work with city compliance duties, including, monthly, quarterly, & annual city fee, business licenses, surety bonds and city audits
- Distribution of compliance information within departments, maintaining compliance documentation, and ensuring required information is current
- Maintenance of current due dates with business license renewals, bonds, and additional contract compliance requirements
- Assemble information for responding to requests from auditors.
- Respond to requests from cities for ad hoc reports by retrieving and summarizing financial and operational data.
- Data reporting validation, preparation and presentation to city officials
- Collaborate with other departments when needed to complete monthly, quarterly, and yearly tasks needed depending on the franchise city
- Work on monthly, quarterly, and yearly reporting as required
- Supervise the analytical tasks of the administrative staff.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field
- 3 - 5 years of experience in a comparable role.
- Operationally oriented with the ability to correlate operating performance and financial trends.
- Advanced to Expert level proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups and advanced formula utilization).
- Reporting software experience with Microsoft Access/Crystal Reports.
- Ability to collaborate with a diverse group of employees, managers, and outside parties in a team orientated setting
- Outstanding organizational, and oral/written communication skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to meet project deadline
- Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills
- Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.

Salary $63,786 - $92,588
