A growing healthcare solutions provider is looking to add an IT Field Operations (Helpdesk Coordinator) to their growing IT Support team. The corporate headquarters is in Los Angeles, CA but this would be supporting field employees nationwide.
The IT Field Operations Support role will be responsible for:
- Serve as the first point of contact for those on the decision seeking technical assistance
- Monitor and respond quickly to incoming requests related to technology issues
- Make outbound calls to direct the user’s request
- Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions
- Participate in ongoing training
- Respond to users inquires via chat, telephone, and/or emails
- Pass on any feedback or suggestions by end user to the appropriate internal team
- Assist with onboarding of new users
- Walk end user through the problem-solving process
- Requires an individual to maintain the ability to work in an environment with PHI / PII data
- Provide basic technical troubleshooting skills to assist users with hardware/software issues
- Escalate calls when necessary, to appropriate subject matter experts
- May be assigned other duties
- Must maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
Hours: 10:30am - 6:30pm, M-F - Central Standard Time
Status: Temp-to-hire
Location: Remote,
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
To be eligible for the IT Field Operations Support role you must meet the following qualifications:
- High School or general equivalency diploma
- An Associate’s degree in computer science or related field ideally
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Proven experience as a help desk technician or other customer support role
- Strong customer service skills are required
- Ability to work independently and in teams to carry out assignments to completion within the parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines and standard accepted practices.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Efficient in Microsoft office programs, Adobe, windows 7, 8, 10
- Recommend solutions or systems to streamline the workflow
- Must process a high degree of integrity and tryst along with the ability to work
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting productivity standards.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 30lbs.
- Must be able to talk, listen, speak, and view electronic equipment.
