Job Summary:
Genesis of Charlotte, a premier luxury car dealership in Charlotte, North Carolina, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Service Manager to join our team. The Service Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the service department, ensuring high-quality work and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the service department
- Hire, train, and supervise a team of service technicians and support staff
- Create and maintain service schedules and monitor productivity and efficiency of technicians
- Ensure all work is completed in a timely and accurate manner
- Maintain high customer satisfaction by addressing and resolving any service-related issues
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of parts and supplies
- Develop and implement processes to improve service department efficiency and profitability
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborate with other departments to facilitate smooth operations and meet company goals
- Comply with all safety guidelines and regulations
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a service management role within the auto industry
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and dealership management systems
- Knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- High school diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
