Job Description: The role of Territory Account Manager is a new role to MMUSA. The role is to build a new customer base of Independent retailers across the East Coast of USA. It is a combination of on boarding new customers, followed by retaining that customer base, through professional service and becoming a trusted business advisor. Give the mass population the option to be creative, instead of Screen time!!! Success in this role is success morally, ethically and financially!
The primary purpose of the Territory Account Manager is to build and then service a customer base across the East Coast of USA. You will play a pivotal role in driving the expansion of our brand in the USA by setting up departments in stores. Your focus will be on forging strategic partnerships and accelerating sales growth along the eastern states of USA into Mass Market independent retailers. This dynamic role requires a combination of entrepreneurial spirit, sales acumen, and relentless drive to achieve results. Responsibilities:
- This is a road warrior position with significant windshield time.
- Expect to be away from home as your customer base grows and your prospecting area expands, servicing the immediate and surrounding states. There is no in-office expectation and when not on the road you will be work from home.
- Champion the Mont Marte brand by actively promoting our products/services and value proposition to potential clients
- Cultivate and nurture relationships with key stakeholders to foster brand loyalty and advocacy
- Follow well researched sales strategy and identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and lead generation activities
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in US and Australia to execute targeted sales and marketing strategies
- If required, serve as a brand ambassador at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to showcase our range and engage with prospects
- Invest in understanding the impact of your role, team and department across the business and how other departments are impacted by you
- Act in accordance with the Mont Marte values, policies & procedures at all times.

- Candidates should possess a proactive and results-driven mindset, with the ability to work independently and take initiative in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
- Demonstrated success in driving brand growth and achieving sales targets in a competitive environment
- The ability to negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with clients is crucial for closing deals and maximizing revenue opportunities. You will be supported by an experienced team and sales strategies.
- Great interpersonal skills and a proven ability to build rapport with prospective and existing customers
- Effective time management and organizational skills
Experience
- Previous employment in a sales representative role where you have successfully turned prospects into customers. Highly driven and performing salesperson: A proven track record of building sales, particularly in B2B. You enjoy prospecting for new customers, demonstrating resilience and applying your enthusiastic work ethic to generate leads and close deals to reach your targets.
- While not required, familiarity with the industry can be advantageous for understanding customer needs and positioning products/services effectively.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in an on-road sales position.
Education
- High School Degree with relevant sales experience
Valid Driver's License:
- Since the role involves extensive travel, a valid driver's license and clean driving record are required including a well maintained vehicle.
