Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Ophthalmology professional to join our team. As an experienced member of ophthalmology, you will play a crucial role in providing patient care and assisting with several different roles in our practice. Your expertise in medical records, physiology knowledge, Optical and medical terminology will contribute to the success of our practice. Duties:
- Provide excellent patient care, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout their visit
- Assist with collecting data, performing tests, and documenting results
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for each patient
- Utilize your knowledge of physiology to assess patients' eye health and identify any abnormalities or concerns
- Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures, test results, and treatment plans
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
- Collaborate with senior care providers to coordinate comprehensive eye care for elderly patients
- Conduct research on new treatments, technologies, and advancements in the field of ophthalmology
Experience:
- Previous experience in ophthalmology or a related field is preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology specific to ophthalmology
- Ability to perform vital signs measurements accurately and efficiently
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and compliance requirements
- Experience working with senior patients and children is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
