J&F Gemelli is a busy, high end salon servicing two locations in Cary. We are looking for a professional, friendly and outgoing individual to fill our part-time salon coordinator position. Candidates should have strong organizational & multi-tasking abilities with a strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
As both the first and last point of contact for the salon, the salon coordinator is responsible for making guests feel welcome and comfortable while maintaining the salons appearance, professionally and aesthetically.
Job Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
- Ensuring guests have an exceptional experience from start to finish!
- Answering phones and scheduling appointments while monitoring email for client correspondence - excellent phone and email etiquette is a must!
- Maintain accurate client records and ensure all client information is up to date
- Computer skills and experience with scheduling software is appreciated but not required - we will train the right candidate!
- Handling cash, credit card transactions and balancing sales with the ability to run financial reports accurately.
- Understanding salon services and products in order to answer guest inquiries and make recommendations.
- Light housekeeping duties such as laundry (folding towels), restocking shelves & drink station, sweeping and maintaining overall salon cleanliness
