Destination Smiles in West San Jose is looking for a new full-time front desk patient coordinator for our Orthodontic department. This individual must be friendly, possess a confident personality, a team player, customer service driven, a quick learner and have excellent people skills.

Compensation: Excellent hourly pay based upon prior experience – $23-$25/hr.

Clinical Hours: (4 Days/Week)
Monday - Wednesday 7:30 AM - 5 PM
Thursday 7:30 AM - 4 PM
Requirements:
- Customer service is extremely important! We would like someone with a concierge personality that loves pampering and showing our patients how much we care.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Must have past long-term employment with prior employer(s) plus have excellent verifiable past work references
- 1+ year of Dental front experience required
- Knowledge in orthodontic treatment insurance codes and billing a plus but not required
- Dentrix software knowledge and experience a plus
- Excellent verbal and written English are required
- We are seeking more of an extrovert not an introvert
- Must be proactive, enthusiastic & a quick learner
- Because you will be dealing with patients and parents, must be very engaging, warm and reassuring
- A self-starter with superb organizational skills, attention to detail, accurate and neat, with the ability to multitask
- Excellent with multi-line phones. A voice when speaking on the phone that presents a smile even though it can't be seen over the phone.
- A team player who can work independently as well, is reliable, punctual, able to prioritize tasks and manage time
- Works well in a fast-paced environment, supports the office culture, and stays strong under pressure
Job Duties but not limited to:
Check in patients, check out patients, greet patients, answer phones, schedule patient appointments, adhere to all policies within the handbook and follow up with patient accounts.
