Position Responsibilities:
- Complete H&P upon admission and assess residents’ medical status throughout treatment
- Develop and update the treatment plan
- Provides education about medication and other health-related issues
- Monitor patient safety (including eating disordered behaviors) and intervene with recovery-focused directives.
- Monitor bathroom activities and break times.
- Monitor and support residents during meals and snacks.
- Report any changes in the resident's physical and emotional well-being to the treatment team.
- Participating in rounds and treatment team meetings with the multidisciplinary team
- Participate in regular department meetings and staff training
- Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability, responding positively to changing situations in the work setting.
- Demonstrating tact, initiative, resourcefulness, a professional manner, enthusiasm, and a non-judgmental attitude
Education, Competencies, and Credentials:
· Current and unrestricted PA nursing license. (New grads welcome!)
· Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
· 1-year psychiatric and medical/surgical experience preferred.
· CPR/AED certification required (non-online course)
Hours: 32 - 40 hours per week, overnight and weekends
