Job Overview:
This position requires some knowledge of CNC - multi axis machine operations and/or programming. Maintaining, setting, and adjusting the machine are all part of the operator's daily tasks. This is a unique environment unlike standard machine operations. A day might consist of one very large piece and the next day multiple pieces, different sizes. Time spent on pieces will vary from day to day.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines to fabricate parts according to blueprints
- Perform quality checks on machined parts to ensure they meet specifications
- Maintain and troubleshoot CNC machinery as needed
- Collaborate with engineers and production team to optimize machining processes
-Maintain a clean work environment
Qualifications a Plus:
- Proficiency in operating CNC machines, including mills and lathes
- Knowledge of CAD software for part design
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Familiarity with welding, hand tools, milling machines, and forklift operation
- Strong mathematical skills for measurements and calculations
- Ability to fabricate parts using various materials
