Aeris is in search of a proficient technical report writer who can work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate must have a background in field inspections within the Industrial Hygiene/ Indoor Air Quality industry. This new support role will work closely with expert consultants on staff and contracted.
Education:
- Desired Education: Associates Degree (Biology, Chemistry, Environmental, Geology, or other science) strongly preferred
- A High School Diploma with field inspection experience is required
Essential Skills:
-3-5 years experience with indoor environmental field testing, sampling, consulting, report writing. Air quality, mold assessments, asbestos surveys, lead-based paint inspections, industrial hygiene assessments, etc.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Team oriented
-Works well under pressure
-Excellent multi-tasking skills
Highly Valued Skills:
-Google Application proficiency: Gmail, Calendar, and Drive
-Investigative Field technician experience
-Health and safety training
-Knowledge of structural components, building envelope, HVAC knowledge
Responsibilities:
-Technical report writing/ reviewing of field inspections
-Answer technical phone calls
-Daily communication with the field team
-Monitor all field projects on due dates, admin team expectations, data collection/input
-Support field team to drive an excellent customer experience
-Continuously push to learn more about multi-state licensing and industry regulations
-Proficient in Word, Excel, Google, Mac operating systems, and floor plan design software
