We’re hiring for an Employee Shuttle Driver to Live. Work. Explore. this summer!
Job Summary:
Drive various concession vehicles to the dormitory, RV sites, and local attractions in accordance with schedules created by Human Resources and the Shuttle Manger/Retail Manager. Unpacks, tags and back stocks incoming merchandise in accordance with the Stockroom/Warehouse procedures.
The Details:
Position Type: Seasonal
Season Dates: July 25 - October 31, 2024
Pay: 14.30/hr
Schedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days/per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)

Responsibilities:
- Shuttle service specifically for Xanterra employees.
- Drives vehicle from individual or central loading area to dormitory, or other destination according to assigned schedule.

Assists disabled passengers into and out of vehicle.

Secures passengers' wheelchairs to restraining devices to stabilize wheelchairs during trip.

Cleans and services vehicle with fuel, lubricants, and accessories.

Keeps records of trips and behavior of passengers.

Assists Retail Department in the Warehouse/Stockroom as needed.
Qualifications:
- Valid US Drivers license; up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

High School diploma. GED or equivalent; currently pursuing any of the aforementioned

Must successfully complete DOT physical.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

The individual must have the capacity to work in a fast-paced environment where project priorities, task deadlines, and assignments can change quickly and with little notice. The individual must be a self-starter who can work with minimal supervision while working within the guidelines set by their supervisors.
Guest Service Decision Making Level: Associate level: engage guest, respond to concerns, escalate to Lead/Manager as needed.
Physical Requirements include:

Use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
- Reach with hands and arms.
- Frequently walk.
- Occasionally required to sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and taste or smell.
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
