Overview:
South Jersey Treatment Management Company, a leader in addiction and mental health treatment services, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Call Center Admissions Coordinator. This role is crucial in assisting individuals seeking help for addiction and mental health issues. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in addiction treatment, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to effectively 'close' or finalize admissions through persuasive and compassionate interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to Inbound Calls: Effectively handle incoming calls from individuals seeking treatment for addiction and mental health issues. Provide empathetic, knowledgeable, and efficient service to potential clients.
- Assessment and Referral: Conduct initial assessments to understand the caller's needs. Provide appropriate referrals and recommendations for treatment based on the company’s services.
- Sales and Closing: Utilize strong sales skills to encourage individuals to choose our treatment services. Be a persuasive communicator, able to present treatment options in a compelling manner that leads to successful admissions.
- Coordination and Follow-up: Coordinate with other team members to ensure a smooth admissions process. Follow up with potential clients as needed to facilitate the decision-making process.
- Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and confidential records of all interactions with potential clients. Ensure all necessary documentation is completed for the admissions process.
- Stay Informed: Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in addiction and mental health treatment. Continuously improve knowledge to better serve clients and their families.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in addiction treatment settings.
- Strong sales skills and experience in a target-driven environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathetic and compassionate approach to dealing with sensitive issues.
- Ability to work under pressure and make informed decisions quickly.
- Proficiency in using customer relationship management (CRM) software and other office tools.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in a relevant field (e.g., Psychology, Counseling) is preferred.
