What qualities make a successful Annuity & Life Insurance Internal Wholesaler?
You must be highly motivated, achievement driven, confident, sales-oriented and committed to providing top class service to your agents and financial advisors.
This is a sales-oriented position, and the right candidate will be able to build their book of advisors rapidly. The ideal candidate will be responsible for recruiting, and servicing affiliated registered representatives and must be able to successfully establish business-to-business relationships with independent financial services professionals. We will also provide an existing book of business to help kick start your success.
Specific responsibilities for the Internal Wholesaler will include but not limited to:
- Ability to successfully establish business-to-business relationships with independent financial professionals
- Must be sales oriented, self-motivated and comfortable on the phone
- Operate efficiently in a high-volume entrepreneurial environment
- Collaborate and interact with multiple business structures (insurance, securities, income planning, etc.)
- Must be well organized and able to manage competing priorities
- Assist Financial Advisors in identifying new sales opportunities, prepare proposal materials, and run product illustrations. Continuously develop product and services knowledge on various carriers, including product features, compliance requirements, and competitive positioning to guide Financial Advisors.
- Develop and implement marketing/recruiting plan
- Schedule, coordinate, and run conference calls, webinars, Go-To-Meetings and campaigns
Annuity & Life Insurance Internal Wholesaler qualifications and skills include:
- Sales background (2+ years preferred), self-motivated, comfortable on the phone, and have strong interpersonal skills
- Previous work experience in the financial services, and investment industry preferred
