Primary Responsibilities
- Build relationships and rapport with customers and store personnel, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining localized customer relations.
- Continually monitor customer inventory for proper levels.
- Present and sell new products and pending promotions to current customers and potential new customers.
- Build in-store displays and maintain accounts with POS
- Plan and coordinate promotions within accounts
- Maintain best in class product placement—filling walk-in and stand-alone coolers and dry shelves with product, ensuring proper product rotation is maintained at all times, and that all back-stock areas are clean and organized.
- Call on key accounts on an ongoing basis to review in-store priorities.
- Prepare presentations and proposals.
- Follow up on new leads for future calls resulting from field activity.
- Educate client on pricing compared to their competitors and like products.
- Identify and resolve client concerns.
- Record sales calls on required paperwork.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
- 1-3 years of previous sales experience is preferred but not required
- Positive attitude, strong communication skills and a willingness to work
- Must have a clean driving record
- Must have a strong work ethic and be able to work well with a team
- The Sales Representative must possess the ability to work in a fast-paced distribution environment, and the flexibility to work long hours beyond standard requirements as needed.
- While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand for extended periods; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, or crouch; lift heavy items; and talk and hear.
- The Sales Representative must be at least 21 years of age to work at Heart of America Beverage

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
